I think it is better to go straight to companies. You get less wait time with them.

Going through an agency is a good way of landing a job, but then most of these jobs do not pay much. If you just need something until you get back on track, sure go ahead, but when you really want a job that's worth your time, you should apply in different companies by yourself.

Talk about crisis!

Indeed, it is hard to find a good paying job! But, that shouldn't stop us from finding a nice job that suits us... Remember, if there's a will, there's a way!

And in every job, we should always look forward to learning something new...

It's definitely a pain to look for a job, but it's part of life. Did you know that short, intense bouts of stress (like when you are looking for a job) are actually good for you? Do a google search for "stress can be good for you" and you'll see a ton of articles about it. Long-term stress (like staying with a job you don't like.. or dealing with the financial consequences of not having a job!) is the type of stress that isn't healthy for you.

It's true, though, that it's probably easier for a UK, US or other Western country to get a job than someone in Indonesia. It's definitely not fair, but that's the way life is nowadays.
